Mark Mahboubi
We are pleased to welcome Mark Mahboubi as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Aerospace Engineering Corporation. Mr. Mahboubi has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, design, precision machining, fabrication and lean manufacturing - 26 years in the aerospace and defense industries. AEC Founder Michael Burdge and the entire organization are excited to have Mark as a partner and key member of our team.

Mahboubi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in California, reaffirming a strong foundation that has enhanced his extensive knowledge and experience in engineering, aerospace manufacturing, operational growth, team building and lean manufacturing. Prior to joining AEC, Mark held President/CEO and V.P. of Operations positions at R&B Machine and STADCO.

AEC looks forward to continued growth, with Mark spearheading continuous improvement, increasing project efficiency and expanding our client base. Mark has an impressive track record of developing prosperous growth and throughput initiatives. Adding talented individuals like Mark will bolster AEC's viability and improve our strategic growth. This will translate to improved quality, delivery and value for our customers.

September 2016 - New Press Brake

Aerospace Engineering Corp. receives a new Pacific Model 300 ton capacity 14' hydraulic press brake.

June 2016 - AEC Supports NASA Orion Program

Aerospace Engineering Corp. proudly supports Lockheed Martin & Arcata Associates Inc. on the NASA Orion Program. A Multi-Purpose American spacecraft intended to carry a crew of four astronauts to destinations farther than humans have ever gone before. Orion will serve as an exploration vehicle, provide emergency abort capability, sustain the crew during the space travel, and provide safe re-entry from deep space return velocities.

October 2014 - Expanded 5-Axis Capabilities

The installation of (2) additional large capacity Nicolás Correa (5) Axis CNC Machines is complete at our corporate headquarters in Brea.

Monday, March 31 2014 - Expanded Aerostructures State of the Art Assembly Operations.

Laser tracker and faro arm portable CMMs with Catia solid modeling is being utilized on the shop floor, for real time building and assembly of aerostructures tooling and fabricated assemblies. Plug and play assembly procedures are utilized to keep customer acquisition costs low and delivery schedules short.
